Raw Light Southwest Florida Honey 8 oz.

(1 customer review)

$9.90 $7.90

Light honey, such as the aforementioned clover, is ideal for sweetening cereal or tea but also on a buttered toast, and for baking!

Description

Raw, organic, not filtered, not centrifuged, not pasteurized, not heated, no antibiotics, no additives.

Light honey, such as the aforementioned clover, is ideal for sweetening cereal or tea.

It should be mentioned that although typically the lighter the color of the honey the less intense the flavor, there are exceptions to this guideline, some of the most distinctively and strongly flavored honey varieties, such as basswood, are very light, while very mild and pleasant honey.

Furthermore, while the color of the honey is not typically an indicator of the quality, there is an exception to this guideline as well, as honey can become darker during storage or if it is heated.

I bought this for the cold season. This is the best honey I’ve ever had. I love the honeycomb bits on top. I’ve never seen any honey come with this. I know a lot of other honey companies that lie or “syrup down” the truth in their label. They claim to be “raw, unfiltered honey” but they are NOT. Here is a tip- don’t ever buy honey that is labeled as “grade A” honey because that is honey that has been heated and filtered. This honey is everything that it claims to be. So, I really really appreciate the “Really Raw” beekeeper for their efforts in quality honey, their honesty and their integrity. It’s worth every penny! I just received it in the mail today and I’m ordering some again!
